Counseling and Psychotherapy

We are all walking our personal paths. Often we find ourselves at crossroads and stuck points that become difficult to navigate. The individual therapy we provide is client-centered, with an emphasis on identifying areas of pain and stagnation and addressing them with openness and compassion.

We work to enable our clients to feel empowered in making personal change and transformation despite the challenges that they face. We are trained to support you through anxiety issues, depression, substance abuse and addiction, trauma, post-traumatic stress, and other mental health concerns.

As a collective, we pull from a eclectic frame of orientations including somatic psychotherapy, wilderness therapy, contemplative counseling, and evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. We will meet you where you are at and ensure you receive the best care possible.

Holistic Medical Care

You are not a “dis-ease” or a “chemical imbalance in the brain” requiring lifelong medication. You are not bound to a life of ill-health, anxiety, angst, or sadness. You are a profoundly unique being arising from the eternal ground of limitless potential that comes equipped with robust healing capacity. Our mission is to empower you to live your optimal life.

We partner with you, meeting you where you are. We work with food/nutrition, gut and microbiome health (90% of our serotonin and 50% of our dopamine receptors live in the gut so what we eat and our digestive health is of utmost importance), lifestyle modifications including meditation and mindfulness, stress remediation, and sleep hygiene.

Equally important is the elucidation of ingrained (usually unconscious) mental habit patterns and beliefs that serve as the filter through which one’s reality is perceived. We use medications as a last resort, and will help you wean off of medications when appropriate.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a modality that combines the support of psychotherapy with the medicinal and psychedelic benefits of ketamine. Ketamine serves as a catalyst to bring forward therapeutic content and non-ordinary states of consciousness, while the psychotherapist is present to support clients with deepening and integrating these experiences.

Ketamine is a safe, legal, and highly effective psychedelic medicine being researched as a treatment option for depression, PTSD, anxiety, and addiction. Ketamine is commonly used in hospitals worldwide and has gained traction within therapy for it’s ability to provide insight, spiritual experience, and direct relief from certain mental health symptoms.

Ketamine is self-administered in session as a sublingual lozenge, or administered as an intramuscular injection. Sessions are scheduled for 2-3 hours and include preparation and integration sessions as needed.

Community Meditation Group

We are far vaster with greater capacity than thoughts and deeply-ingrained habitual mental patterns would have us believe.  As awareness is cultivated perspective broadens experientially as the chains of reaction to self and other are released. Parts of Self are discovered that shift perspective and serve our deepest healing. Experientially we open to insights into the nature of our being. Pema Chodron said, "You are the sky. Everything else-it's just the weather."

Join us for a free Community Meditation 1st Saturday of the month from 11:00-1:00. Instruction will be given. All levels of experience welcome. Please arrive by 10:50 to get yourself settled. Please bring your own cushion, folding chair, blanket, or whatever else you need to make yourself comfortable.

3-Day Intensives

Boulder Wellness Ketamine Collective offers 3-day intensives combining mindfulness training, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and wilderness-based integration. These intensives include an orientation, mindfulness training, three KAP sessions, and integration support. Part of the integration process will include a wilderness experiential in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

All intensives require an intake screen and medical approval to ensure appropriateness for this style of treatment. 3-Day intensives are ideal for individuals traveling from out-of-state, or for individuals that are looking for a retreat-style form. Contact us for details.
